Lido Key is positioned between Mainland Sarasota and the Island of Longboat Key. It is home to the world famous Saint Armands Circle shopping district, and also boasts some of the white sand beaches that the Barrier Islands are famous for. Lido Key is connected to Downtown Sarasota by the fixed span John Ringling Bridge, which has become a Sarasota area landmark. St. Armands Circle is a globally recognized collection of boutique shops, restaurants, and galleries.

Lido Key offers a variety of options for both vacationers and residents, with luxury resort hotels, high rise condos, and single family homes. Some of the newer developments on Lido Key include the Orchid Beach Club, the Ritz Carlton Beach Residences, and L’Elegance Condos.
