Bay View Acres
A small community of a mixture of older and newer homes located west of US 41 and just south of Stickney Point Road. Some of the homes are on canals and a few have frontage on the bay. Most of the older homes are ranch style reminiscent of the 1950s and 1960s with the newer homes being of custom designs. This is not a gated community.
Cedar Cove
Located next to Bayview Acres, Cedar Cove Estates is a deed restricted community made up of newer ranch style homes. Cedar Cove Estates has one entry off of Baywood Drive. The community has underground utilities, no sidewalks, street lights and some trees. Very convenient to the world famous Siesta Key beach. Other Cedar Cove homes are located next to this community and some have direct views of the bay.
Service facilities for both communities (banks, shops, etc) are located all along US 41 and mostly at the intersection of Clark Road and US 41. Downtown is located only 5 miles to the north and Siesta Key beach is about 1 mile to the west.
