Country Place
Country Place is a large deed restricted subdivision located just south of Proctor Road and to the east of Beneva Road. It has two entries, one from Sawyer Road to the east and the other on Beneva Road to the west. Homes are of a custom, ranch and spanish mediterranean design with a mix of concrete block and frame construction. Subdivision lots are predominantly 7,000 - 10,000 square feet and the homes are 2,000 - 3,000 square feet. The community has underground utilities, sidewalks, street lights and some trees.
Service facilities (banks, shops, etc) are located at the intersection of Beneva Road and Clark Road. Downtown is located only 4 miles to the northwest and Siesta Key beach is about 3 miles to the southwest.
