The Sarasota Manatee Bicycle Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to bicycling for recreation, fitness, exercise, sport, and transportation. Members take active roles in the Sarasota-Manatee area to further the interests and safety of all bicyclists.
Chorus of the Keys
The Sarasota Chorus of the Keys and quartets seek to preserve and further develop the original American art form of four-part a cappella harmony - barbershop harmony - while striving for musical excellence and performing frequently for the broadest possible spectrum of Southwest Florida audiences.
Friends of the Arts and Sciences, Inc.
The Hilton Leech Studio has been an established art gallery and studio in Sarasota since 1960. Through the years hundreds of students have attended our watercolor workshops, many returning year after year to visit our unique round studio in beautiful southwest Florida. Our instructors are respected, credentialed professional artists who come from all over North America.

Sarasota County Young Republicans
A non-profit youth-serving political organization. Meetings are the last Thursday of each month at the Stockyard Steakhouse Cattlemen Road in Sarasota at 7:00 PM Contact club president Joe Gruters at 941-685-2002, president, for programs schedule. The Young Republicans are a state and national organization comprised of members between 18-41 years of age.
Sarasota Insurance Womens (SIW) Association
Sarasota Insurance Women (SIW) was formed in early 1980 by a small group of women from Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice. Their purpose was to help women in the industry pool their resources, provide educational opportunities, and build leadership skills.
Sarasota Literary Society
The Sarasota Literary Society is a group of writers whose purpose is to publish and promote their works. They hold national writing contests and publish an annual volume of short stories and poetry drawn from that contest. The Society also schedules programs and speakers of interest to writers at monthly meetings, from October through April, held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Selby Public Library in Sarasota. Visitors are welcome.
Sarasota Model Railroad Club Located in the Sarasota-Manatee County area on Florida's Gulf Coast, SMRC is dedicated to the advancement of Model Railroading. Home of the Myakka Valley Railroad, we offer modeling choices in HO, N, O and 1½" gauge Live Steam. We have both permanent and modular portable layouts.
Sarasota Model Yacht Club The Sarasota Radio Controlled Model Yacht Club races 39" Soling One Meter, 48" International One-Design, 60" East Coast 12 Meter, and not 74" A Class "Vanja" model sailboats on ponds throughout Sarasota County.
Sarasota Power Squadron - Dedicated to smart, safe & fun boating! With over 550 members, we offer safe boating courses to the public and many other marine related classes to members. Many social activities - on and off the water!
Sarasota Ski-A-Rees
The Ski-A-Rees is a non-profit water ski club. They have won numerous awards and contests and annually entertain thousands of Sarasota residents and visitors with their shows at Ken Thompson Park.
Sarasota Toastmasters Club - Local branch of Toastmasters International. Toastmasters builds public speaking and communication skills in a fun, friendly environment.
