Serenoa
Serenoa is a golf course community of newer homes located about 2 miles east of I-75 off Clark Road. This community is a mix of single family and attached villas. There are two entries to the north and south of the subdivision off Ibis Street. Homes are primarily of block construction and a custom design. All utilities are underground and street lights are installed.
The golf course is a par 72 with 6,340 yards open to the public. Serenoa is situated on over 200 acres and was rated one of the top three courses in Sarasota County by Florida Golf News. Facilities include a clubhouse, restaurant with a large deck overlooking a lake and a driving range with a separate green and trap.
Service facilities (banks, shops, etc) are located at the intersection of Clark Road and I-75 about 2 miles away. Downtown is located only 8 miles to the northwest and Siesta Key beach is about 6 miles to the west.
